Project Manager

Mobideo Aerospace is presently seeking an experienced Project Manager in North America that will be responsible for the deployment and integration of the Guide system in enterprises and military organizations.  The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing the deployment and integration of the Guide product within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards. This includes scheduling tasks, deadlines and milestones for all stakeholders and resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, integrators and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans, success criteria and associated communications documents and disseminate them to all involved parties.
  • Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds on-spec, mediate project and customer requirements to be implemented by the R&D team, effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify schedule uncertainties and risks for both client and Mobideo Aerospace, identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, track project milestones and deliverables, develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as needed.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Create, maintain and constantly look to improve production processes, conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in the field of Computer Science, Avionics Engineering or Management from a well-known university.
  • 7-10 years experience in software and hardware projects deployment and/or program/project management encompassing the development and deployment of large scale client-server systems, including mobile / wireless systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing full life-cycle client-server systems deployments including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Proven experience with Windows platforms and internet technologies, including web applications and communication protocols (IIS, HTTP, TCP/IP and the like).
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team building and inter-team conflict resolution capabilities, experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Database experience and SQL knowledge, preferably SQL Server.
  • Familiar with programming languages, especially C#.Net.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Related Program Management certification (preferred).
  • Customer service skills an asset.
Work Conditions

Account  Manager

Mobideo Aerospace is presently seeking an experienced Account Manager in North America that will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our customer base in enterprises, military and aviation organizations. The Account Manager will be responsible for customer relations management, sales and business development, while ensuring customers’ needs are being met and fully communicating those expectations to the operations side of the business. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of customers’ missions, capabilities, business posture and investment strategies, and creating strategic initiatives and strategies for expanding opportunities for our company. The Account Manager is to maximize sales revenue by ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction is delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all sales activities including lead generation, qualification, prospecting, customer needs analysis, articulating the unique benefits and value proposition of Mobideo’s solutions, managing customer proposals, conducting demonstrations and closing deals while meet quarterly quota.

  • Client relation management, serving as a point of contact for all commercial issues and managing relations with other departments of the company.

  • Contract management - Delivering on commercial targets, price management, negotiations etc.

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities for our company - same products new customers, same customers new products, same products new markets

  • Responding to formal customer RFP/RFQ’s as well as general enquiries or complaints

  • Handling of business administration duties including: report writing, budget management, regular two-way communication between clients and operational facilities.

  • Attend steering committee meetings, give presentations and conduct demonstrations to customers, articulate military/aviation mission knowledge, develop market analyses, competitive assessments and business plans.

Position Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or equal in the discipline of business or marketing from a well-known university. Alternatively, a relevant engineering qualification coupled with management and business development experience.
  • 7-10 years experience in account management, business development, marketing and/or program/project management in large scale companies and/or aviation/defense organizations.
  • Practical experience and proven capability running complex multi-disciplinary projects within the aerospace and/or defense sector, to combine significant project management capability and business knowledge, including experience with requirements, contracts, and service and support issues.
  • Strong Techno-Commercial/ Business Orientation and Cost Sensitive with ability to balance between customer expectations and delivery challenges.
  • Solid knowledge of the requirements of operating within the rules and guidelines of the aviation and/or defense authorities coupled with experience with the repair and maintenance of aircraft and/or military equipment components.
  • Understanding and effective management of cross functional processes.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service, communicating with stakeholders to negotiate problems and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Deployment Team Leader

Mobideo Aerospace is presently seeking an experienced software and hardware deployment team leader in North America that will be responsible for executing and supporting the deployment and integration of the Guide system in enterprises and military organizations. The Team Leader will be responsible for installation, configuration and operation of the Guide product system and handle technical customer requirements on-site, while meeting deadlines and designated quality standards. The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring proper test, debug and verification of the Guide product hardware and software at customer sites. The Team Leader will technically manage integration with customer and 3rd party software systems, networks and hardware, and will execute development and testing of interfaces and product adaptations required in the field. The Team Leader will work with customer and 3rd party teams to execute the deployment and integration of the product, provide support after installation and handle technical issues, while ensuring all product components operate optimally within the overall system.

Responsibilities
  • Point of contact for all technical issues related to the deployment and integration of the Guide product at customer sites.
  • Work closely with the software and hardware teams of the Guide product development and testing to bring quality products to market within margin/planning targets.
  • Develop, test and install system software and interfaces adaptations required on site during deployment and integration processes.
  • Plan and execute testing and verification processes of system configuration and installation to ensure proper operation of all product components in test, demo and production environments, including integration with customer and 3rd party systems, networks and hardware.
  • Attend technical meetings and training sessions, communicate with customer and 3rd parties on product technical issues and provide post installation technical support on site.
Position Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or equal in software or hardware engineering.
  • Hands on technical person, with proven experience in software development and testing of large-scale client-server systems, at least 3 years experience developing on Microsoft .NET platform (C# preferred).
  • 3-4 years experience in leading development and/or deployment teams of software and/or hardware products, excellent management capabilities.
  • Experience in the development and deployment of Web applications including ASP, XML, IIS knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL or ANSI-SQL – a must.
  • Extensive familiarity with one or more databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with the cellular field, including wireless applications – an advantage.
  • Proven experience in the deployment and installation of products at customer sites – a great advantage.
  • EAI platforms knowledge and integration experience – a great advantage.

Mobideo is seeking an experienced programmer for developing both information systems for mobile devices and database interfaces. Working with a team, the programmer will develop and test software, develop cellular systems, including relational database interfaces and varied organizational systems, and define and develop components for the Company’s product line.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years’ software development experience on Microsoft .NET platform.
  • Experience in Web applications development (e.g. ASP, XML, IIS).
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Extensive familiarity with one or more databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
